Huron Capital Acquires Controlling Interest In ExperiGreen
August 19th 2022
Huron Capital, a middle market private equity firm, has acquired a controlling interest in ExperiGreen Lawn Care.
ExperiGreen operates lawn care branches in Detroit, Chicago, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Columbus, and Charlotte. ExperiGreen is run by lawn care industry veterans John Moehn, Dana Irwin, Mike Goodrich, and Joe Kucik, who founded Real Green Systems, an industry software provider. Don Brown, former president and COO of Real Green Systems, will also serve as a board advisor.
ExperiGreen has completed several acquisitions in 2021 and 2022 and now has more than 40,000 customers and more than $20 million in total revenue. Kucik will be co-chairman of the new venture and will share that role with David Alexander, the former CEO of TruGreen and a current operating partner with Huron.

ExperiGreen Acquires Turfman In Cincinnati

John Rust started TurfMan in 2003 and is now retiring, opting for ExperiGreen to take over the business in the sale. TurfMan has a strong presence on the eastern side of the Cincinnati metro area which nicely complements ExperiGreen’s existing footprint in Cincinnati.
ExperiGreen began operations in 2017 and is headquartered in Mishawaka, Indiana, and Dublin, Ohio. The company provides lawn care, perimeter pest control, and mosquito control services in Columbus, Cincinnati, Detroit, Indianapolis, Chicago, and Charlotte, North Carolina. Ornamental tree and shrub service is also available in Cincinnati, Charlotte, Detroit, and Chicago.

ExperiGreen Acquires Acquires Chicago Company
September 27th 2021
ExperiGreen Lawn Care recently acquired the lawn care customers, vehicles and equipment of Ultra-Green in Chicago.
Jim Krzeczowski started Ultra-Green in 1998 and steadily built a solid business, operating mostly in the southern portion of the metro area. The Ultra-Green customer footprint overlaps nicely with ExperiGreen’s service area and has four service personnel, all of whom have been retained.
With the acquisition, ExperiGreen now has 25 employees in its Chicago location. The acquisition provides expanded service offerings for the Ultra-Green customers.
ExperiGreen began operations in 2017 and is headquartered in Mishawaka, Indiana, and Dublin, Ohio

ExperiGreen Lawn Care recently acquired the residential lawn care customers of Greener Turf Lawn Fertilizing in the Detroit metro area.
ExperiGreen’s acquisition of the Greener Turf residential customers allows owner Scott Moore to focus his attention on the commercial customer base he has in the northern Detroit metro area.
ExperiGreen began operations in 2017 and is headquartered in Mishawaka, Indiana, and Dublin, Ohio. It provides lawn care, perimeter pest control and mosquito control services in Columbus, Cincinnati, Detroit, Indianapolis, Chicago and Charlotte. Ornamental tree and shrub service is also available in Charlotte, Detroit and Chicago. The company has 125 employees across its locations.

ExperiGreen Lawn Care Acquires Two Companies

ExperiGreen Lawn Care recently acquired the lawn care business of Delhi Lawn Service in Cincinnati Ohio and the Columbus Ohio customers of The Organic Turf Company.
Delhi Lawn Service has a long history in the Cincinnati area. Second-generation owner Doug Hott has joined ExperiGreen’s Cincinnati branch management team. He will look to help expand and grow the customer footprint in the areas previously serviced by Delhi with the additional resources available to him at ExperiGreen.
ExperiGreen’s acquisition of the Organic Turf customers in the Columbus area allows OTC owner Jason McCoy to concentrate and focus his team on the customers and territories they service in the Dayton and Cincinnati markets.
ExperiGreen began operations in 2017 and is headquartered in Mishawaka IN and Dublin OH. We provide lawn care, perimeter pest control and mosquito control services in Columbus, Cincinnati, Detroit, Indianapolis, Chicago and Charlotte NC.
